I bought this mainly to replace the crappy leaking stock cover......so it was this or a cheap china chrome cover.......glad I got this......I read the other reveiws about the bolts being to short....dont know if they are or not....I went and got some stainless allen heads which turned out to be longer than the supplied bolts anyway.....regular bolts would have rusted....mine was dirty out of the box so I cleaned it with brake cleaner.....the cheap silver paint job started coming off......so I stripped it and left it natural alum....I used thread sealer on all the threads so I have had ZERO leaks so far........it came with stainless washers ....split and flat.....ended up not using the split washers.....filled my rear with 75-140 royal purple and off I went......this cover is cheaper then the other one sold here so the fact that I had to buy new bolts or strip the paint meant it was still a money saver for me......highly recommended
