This piece really helped with some of the body flex my car was experiencing during street use. Central Oregon roads are terrible on F-Bodies in general and again this helped with body flex. The previous owner of the car had removed the stock piece and did not replace it with another for whatever reason. Unfortunately, this part also reduced my ground clearance by a good inch, causing me to scrape it on several entrances/exits to various parking lots.
Be careful if your car is lowered, this tunnel brace will have an effect on ground-clearance.
