| 98-02 LS1 Camaro SS Trufiber Ram Air Hood
Looking to spice up the looks of your Camaro and also shave some performance robbing weight from the front end? Trufiber has the hood for you. This Camaro SS hood is easy to bolt on and reuses the factory hood mounting hardware.
Trufiber hoods come in a beautiful shiny gel coat finish and have a fully finished bottom side. Minor surface finishing, priming and painting required for proper installation.

- 1. Fully Functional Camaro SS style ram air hood scoop that directs cold air over the stock air box.
- 2. Steel reinforced latch to provide maximum safety and security during extreme conditions. Other fiberglass hoods can crack and break at the latching point.
Important Note:This hood is designed for use with the factory air box lid. Aftermarket lids may rub on the hood due to their higher profile.

Special Instructions For Hoods:
1. When the hood arrives, inspect the box for freight damage and remove all the necessary packing materials to inspect the "bare" hood for freight damage. If there is any sign of freight damage, the customer needs to sign the weigh bill as "item received damaged". Ensure the driver signs the receipt as well. If a customer does not check over the hood at time of delivery and later finds freight damage, no claims for damages can be submitted.
2. If a hood is damaged (signed for as damaged) a customer will need to provide digital photos for review.
3. All hoods must be dry fitted on the car PRIOR to any paint of body work. Any hood that has been painted or has body work done to it cannot be sent back under warranty. No exceptions.
4. All warranty claims for defective hoods (bad workmanship) are through the manufacturer in CA. Photos will have to be submitted prior to a warranty claim. Once reviewed, an RMA # will be sent. If the hood is defective once inspected, a replacement will be sent out.
5. Shipping is non refundable. Hoods are not returnable.
6. Manufacturers warranty is 90 days against defects.
7. All hoods were test fitted to work with the factory air intakes and accessories. No gurantee of fitments with aftermarket parts installed.
8. Hoods do not come with the grills.
