I install this lid about a month ago and the only issue I had with it was I had to heat the neck to get it to fit around the MAF. But it fit so nicely that i doubt I would need a band clamp(i put one on anyways just for good measure) But the fit was very tight which i was happy with and the seal around my air filter element was very tight. I put extra weather stipping around the edge of the lid just cause im OCD about that kinda stuff.... :) Other than that it was well worth the money, it cleaned up my engine bay, gave me better throttle response, and i can feel the horsepower boost :)
