| The SSRA Jaws takes the regular SSRA a step further. The SSRA Jaw's scoop is designed to open and close with your cars speed. This new scoop is hinged on the bottom. Below 10 mph a spring holds the bottom portion to the same 2 inch opening as the original SSRA. This helps to avoid hitting curbs and speed bumps. As you accelerate the scoop begins to open. At 40 mph it is fully opened to 5 inches. Watch out squirrels. This added opening brings in even more cool air to your engine.
The SSRA Jaws is made of Polypropolene plastic. These kits are professionally made. Each piece is laser cut and assembled by stick welding. This keeps the kit both strong and pliable.
The SSRA Jaws comes with detailed instructions, all mounting hardware, and weather stripping to seal the kit to the air filter assembly.
