I just installed this catback on my 99 trans am. I already have the Texas speed header and y pipe connected to a stock exhaust with a Flowmaster muffler welded on. The new catback sounds amazing. It has a mellow powerful sound and really opens up at WOT. Remove the cut out and the thing screams. I definitely feel the car pull harder in low and high RPM's with or without the cut out open. It looks fantastic as well.
