I am using flywheel along with a SPEC stage 2 clutch, and have had clutch chatter issues. After only 500 miles of driving, the vibration was getting to me, so I had it pulled and checked by a machine shop. It had a large hot spot that was 10 thousandths high or so. I sent the flywheel back to Fidanza, and they put on a new friction surface free of charge. Now it is back in the car, and for the first 200 miles it was ok, but then the chatter returned. I don't know if it is just my combination of clutch and flywheel, or what. Anyway, it does take a little more gas to get moving. With the clutch being a grippier clutch I usually gas it to 1500-1800, then slip the clutch a bit. This is in a M6 with 3.42 gears. I've gotten use to the mild chatter, and you can tell a difference in how quick the car revs. No doubt a performance increase, but if I was to do it again, I'd probably get a lightweight flywheel that had a segmented surface to avoid the possible warping issues.
